Grant of License
Subject to the terms and conditions of this License Agreement and the accompanying Terms of Service, NuOz grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the NuOz API v3 service available at api.nuoz.me.
Scope of License
This license grants you the right to:
✅ Permitted Uses
- API Integration: Integrate the NuOz API into your applications, software, or services
- Data Access: Retrieve and use data from your authorized tenant databases
- Commercial Use: Use the API for commercial purposes within your licensed scope
- Development: Develop applications that interact with the API
- Automation: Create automated systems that utilize the API endpoints
- Monitoring: Monitor your IoT devices and energy systems through the API
- Analytics: Perform data analysis on information retrieved via the API
❌ Prohibited Uses
- Reverse Engineering: Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the API
- Redistribution: Redistribute, resell, or sublicense API access to third parties
- Circumvention: Bypass authentication, rate limits, or security measures
- Competitive Use: Use the API to build competing IoT management platforms
- Unauthorized Access: Access data or services beyond your authorized scope
- Malicious Use: Use the API for harmful, illegal, or unauthorized purposes
- Bulk Extraction: Mass download or extract data beyond reasonable operational needs
API Usage Rights
Your license includes access to the following API capabilities:
- Authentication System: JWT and API Key authentication methods
- Organization Management: Access to hierarchical organization data
- Time-Series Data: Meter readings and sensor measurements
- Alert Management: Create and manage system alerts
- Advanced Analytics: Circuit-level energy calculations and measurements
- Multi-Tenant Support: Isolated access to your designated databases
Rate Limits and Technical Restrictions
Your use of the API is subject to the following technical limitations:
- API requests: 100 requests per minute per IP address
- Authentication requests: 20 requests per minute per IP address
- Data retention and access based on your service tier
- Concurrent connection limits as specified in your service agreement
Data Rights and Ownership
- Your Data: You retain ownership of all data you submit to or retrieve from the API
- API Design: The API interface, documentation, and underlying technology remain NuOz property
- Usage Statistics: We may collect anonymized usage statistics for service improvement
- Data Privacy: Your data is processed according to our Privacy Policy
Service Level and Support
This license includes:
- Access to API documentation at api.nuoz.me/v3/docs
- Basic technical support via email
- Service status information at health endpoints
- Advance notice of planned maintenance when possible
License Term and Termination
This license:
- Begins when you first access the API and accept these terms
- Continues until terminated by either party
- May be terminated immediately for breach of terms
- Automatically terminates if you fail to comply with usage restrictions
- Survives termination for provisions related to intellectual property and liability
Updates and Modifications
We reserve the right to:
- Update the API with new features and improvements
- Modify rate limits and usage restrictions with notice
- Deprecate API endpoints with reasonable advance notice
- Update this license agreement as needed
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
THE API IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NUOZ DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE API.

- Maintain appropriate security measures for your API credentials
