1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the NuOz IoT Management API v3 (the "Service") available at api.nuoz.me, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

NuOz API v3 provides programmatic access to IoT device management, energy monitoring, time-series data analytics, and organizational hierarchy management. The Service includes:

• Multi-tenant database access with authentication
• Real-time and historical sensor data retrieval
• Organization and device management capabilities
• Alert and notification systems
• Advanced analytics and reporting features

3. API Access and Authentication

Access to the Service requires valid authentication credentials. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and authentication tokens
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your credentials
• Using only the authentication methods provided by the Service

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Exceed rate limits or attempt to circumvent usage restrictions
• Use the Service to transmit malicious code or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

5. Rate Limits and Usage

The Service implements rate limiting to ensure fair usage:

• API endpoints: 100 requests per minute per IP address
• Authentication endpoints: 20 requests per minute per IP address
• Sustained abuse may result in temporary or permanent suspension

6. Data Privacy and Security

We are committed to protecting your data:

• Data is isolated per tenant in multi-tenant environments
• We implement industry-standard security measures
• Your data remains your property; we do not claim ownership

7. Service Availability

• Use NuOz trademarks without written permission

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
• WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
• OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICE
• WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DATA LOSS OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of material changes when possible.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service:

• For violation of these Terms
